Early Life of Tara Correa-McMullen

In Westminster, Vermont, she was born on May 24, 1989. Tara Correa-McMullen's parents Thomas McMullen (father) and mother Mary Devra Correa. Also, she had an elder sibling sister Abigail. Along with her mother Mary & sister, Tara moved to Southern California in the year 1996.  

Later, they settled in Venice, an affluent neighborhood of Los Angeles. She enrolled at Claremont Middle School located in Oakland, California. Later she joined Venice High School & sang in the school's choir. From a young age, she was a talented musician. 


Career

She was a rising star but was cut short. At 15 years old, Tara Correa-McMullen had lofty aspirations of being successful in Hollywood. The 2005 movie Rebound gave her her first significant break. Her mother, who at the time worked for a casting agency, suggested her daughter for the part. Prior to getting the job, Tara had no acting experience. When she was cast as a recurring character on the prestigious CBS series Judging Amy, her career in television took an exciting turn. She did a wonderful job of portraying a young, edgy gang member, enthralling the audience with her depth and honesty. Tara's character created a lasting impression during the exciting sixth season of the program, leaving viewers anticipating each of her appearances.

She appeared in the realm of Nickelodeon's beloved television series, Zoey 101, and gracefully embraced a small yet memorable role. She made an impression in just one episode, bringing her own special touch to the show's vivid and dynamic setting. Her boyfriend Michael, a gang member, and in age, he was 10 years senior to her. The pair had been living together for a while, and in 1996, they even relocated to Los Angeles together.

Their intended wedding date was canceled due to her unexpected passing. At the age of 16, Tara Correa-McMullen was fatally murdered in front of an apartment building in Inglewood, California. Tara's death shocked Michael, who was reportedly very impacted by the event. Her tragic passing ended a brilliant career and a life filled with promise.

On October 21, 2005, Tara Correa-McMullen's life was brutally cut short. She was fatally murdered in front of an apartment complex in Inglewood, California, at the age of sixteen. She was a victim of a gang-related shooting, according to the police.

In the event, two further persons were shot as well, but they lived. Correa-McMullen is buried in Los Angeles's Hollywood Hills at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The E! documentary series Boulevard of Broken Dreams included a profile of Tara Correa-McMullen in 2007.
