Paul Stanley Parents
In upper Manhattan, New York City, he was born on January 20, 1952. His birth name is Stanley Bert Eisen and raised by Jewish parents. He is the 2nd child of his parents William Eisen (father), and Eva Eisen (mother). He has an elder sibling sister Julia. Having American nationality, Stanley is of white ethnicity.
At the age of 7, he was given a child's guitar and learned to sing harmony with his family. In the year 1960, his family relocated to the Kew Gardens neighborhood in Queens. Before having reconstructive surgery at the age of 30 in 1982, Stanley's right ear had a congenital abnormality called microtia that caused it to be malformed. He struggled to distinguish the direction of sounds, was unable to hear on that side, and struggled to interpret speech in noisy settings.

Career
He was a part of the band Rainbow, before joining Kiss. In the early 1970s, through a mutual friend of Gene Simmons, Stanley joined Simmons' band, Wicked Lester. They stayed together and joined Peter Criss and Ace Frehley to form the band Kiss. In the year 1974, the band released their first self-titled album. He officially changed his name to Paul Stanley, with the release of the band's debut album. Kiss has continued to create music over the years, reaching the height of their popularity in the early 1980s. In addition to being a performer, Stanley has always been a major creative force for the band. He has written or co-authored several of the group's best successes.

A lifelong interest in stars is what he cites for his connection to the character, but he has dabbled with other aesthetic ideas for his makeup at various stages. The Starchild is what has remained. Stanley, along with the other founding members of Kiss, put out a first studio album in 1978 with the same name. He released a solo song in 1989 for the Wes Craven horror movie Shocker. He co-wrote "Angel to You (Devil to Me)," a song by the Boston power pop group Click Five, in 2005.

The following year, he released the albums Live to Win in 2006 and One Live Kiss in 2008. In the same year, he worked with Sarah Brightman on a duet for her album Symphony, and in 2016, he contributed his skills to his former Kiss bandmate Ace Frehley's covers album Origins, Vol. 1. He founded Paul Stanley's Soul Station in 2015, a tribute band that performs a combination of soul classics from the 1960s and 1970s with fresh compositions in the same vein.
