Siblings of Patrick Stump

In Evanston, Illinois, he was born to parents David, a folk singer, and Patricia (née Vaughn) Stumph, an accountant. On April 27, 1984, Patrick Martin Stumph was born as the youngest of three children. He has two siblings Kevin Stumph, and Megan Stumph. When he was eight years old, Patrick's parents got divorced.

Following their signing with Island Records, Fall Out Boy issued the EP "My Heart Will Always Be the B-Side to My Tongue." The studio album "From Under the Cork Tree," which was released in 2005, came next. It was Fall Out Boy's mainstream breakthrough when it debuted at number nine on the Billboard 200. The album gave rise to the top-charting singles "Sugar, We're Goin Down" and "Dance, Dance."

When the group released their subsequent studio album, "Infinity on High," in 2007, it saw even more popularity. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and gave birth to the smash songs "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race" and "Thnks fr th Mmrs." Late in 2008, Fall Out Boy released "Folie à Deux," their fourth studio album, which featured the popular song "I Don't Care." Solo Career of Stump

When Fall Out Boy went on sabbatical in 2011, Stump released his first solo album, "Soul Punk." He embarked on two US tours, played in Europe and Japan, and headlined the Metro in Chicago to promote the record.

"Truant Wave," Stump's first solo EP, was published in the year 2011. The terrible criticism he received for his record led him to make the decision to temporarily put his solo career on hold. However, Stump left the door open for potential solo albums in the future.

On television, Stump has appeared on several occasions. He had a brief appearance on "Law & Order" in the early months of 2008 as a low-level employee suspected of kidnapping an executive's wife and daughter. He announced in September 2014 that he and his wife were expecting their first child. When Fall Out Boy took a break, Stump dropped 65 pounds (29 kg), in part because of deteriorating health conditions, such as asthma and pre-diabetes, with which he was diagnosed.
