With "American Crime Story," Falchuk and Murphy later developed their anthology strategy for the true crime genre and won multiple accolades, including a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Limited Series for "The People v. O. J. Simpson." The team of Falchuk, Murphy, and Tim Minear co-created the procedural drama "9-1-1" for Fox in the year 2018.
