At the age of 47, she died. On 15 November 2018, Porter passed away at her home. Kim's prime cause of death Lobar Pneumonia. On 25 January 2019, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner confirmed this news. Then her cause of death was certified as natural.
