Lindsey Vonn is a former alpine ski racer, who won four women's World Cup overall championships (2008–10 and 2012). Also, she was the all-time leader in women's World Cup race victories with 82 wins at her retirement in 2019.

When was Lindsey Vonn Born? 

On October 18, 1984, she was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota whose birth name is Lindsey Caroline Kildow. Her parents Alan Kildow (father), a former junior national ski champion, and mother Linda Anne. She grew up under the care of her parents in the Twin Cities metropolitan area in Burnsville, Minnesota. At the age of two, she began skiing and received early skiing lessons from her grandfather, Don Kildow. Then she trained at ‘Buck Hill,’ a ski and snowboard area, by her father’s former coach, Erich Sailer.

Lindsey is of mixed  (Irish and German-Norwegian) ethnicity. Her father Alan is of Irish ancestry and mother is of German and Norwegian ancestry. Also, she has four siblings, two sisters Karin Kildow, Laura Kildow, and two brothers Dylan Kildow, Reed Kildow. She graduated from the ‘University of Missouri’s ‘Center for Distance Learning and Independent Study’ online program.

At the age of 16, Vonn made her ‘World Cup’ debut on November 18, 2000, in Park City, Utah. She became the first one for an American woman to won the gold medal downhill at the 2010 Winter Olympics. Also, Lindsey won a record eight World Cup season titles in the downhill discipline (2008–2013, 2015, 2016), five titles in super-G (2009–2012, 2015), and three consecutive titles in the combined (2010–2012). Also, Vonn has the second highest super ranking of all skiers, men or women. In all five alpine skiing disciplines downhill, super-G, giant slalom, slalom, and super combined Vonn is one of only six women to have achieved this feat. She beat Austria's Annemarie Moser-Pröll, who had held the record since the 1970s, with her 82 total World Cup triumphs. Vonn is one of the most successful American ski racers and is regarded as one of the greatest skiers ever thanks to her Olympic gold and bronze medals, two World Championship gold medals in 2009 (plus three silver medals in 2007 and 2011), and four overall World Cup crowns.

Vonn was named the American Olympic Committee's sportswoman of the year in 2010 and won the Laureus Sportswoman of the Year award. As a result of injuries, Vonn has missed portions of many seasons, most notably practically all of 2014 and most of 2013. She covered the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, as an NBC News correspondent while she was healing from her injury. In the year 2019, Vonn announced her retirement, citing her injuries.

Lindsey sold the home in 2018 for $3.65 million. She bought a home in Sherman Oaks, California worth $2.6 million in 2017. In March 2020, she listed this property for $3 million.

Lindsey Vonn isn't still married to her husband Thomas Vonn. Her ex-husband Thomas is also a former U.S. Ski Team athlete. On September  29, 2007, Lindsey got married to her husband at the Silver Lake Lodge in Deer Valley, Utah.

Well, the duo didn't share any kids out of their married life. They announced about their divorce in  November 2011, after four years of marriage. Eventually, Lindsey got divorced from her husband Thomas on January 9, 2013.

Well, her current relationship status is unknown. Previously, she dated golfer Tiger Woods. After divorce from her husband, she met Woods at a charity event in 2012. In March 2013, they began dating 3 before splitting up in May 2015. Lindsey began dating NFL assistant coach Kenan Smith in late 2016. Sadly, the duo's relationship ended in November 2017. They announced their engagement on August 23, 2019. Vonn announced she proposed to Subban in December 2019.  They together purchased a villa in Beverly Hills for $6.75 Million in May 2020. She polled her Twitter followers in July 2020 about their thoughts on interracial relationships. Lindsey and Subban both announced their breakup on Instagram on December 29, 2020. She announced that the two had parted ways but remained friends.
