When Did Priya Bapodra Get Married To Her Husband?

On April 16, 2015, Priya Bapodra got married to her husband Ramon Orlando Villaverde. As per reports, the duo met while working at the Columbus Zoo. Then, they started dating secretly and maintain a low-key about their relationship.

Priya and Ramon's beautiful wedding ceremony held in Ohio officiated by Ryan Avery Dew. They actually got married receiving the blessing of their friends and families. The officiator described the wedding ceremony as follows:

"It was an awesome blend of sunshine and rain, a very romantic evening. Friends and family came together to celebrate these two."

Since 2015, Priya is living a blissful married life with her husband without any rumors of a split. In spite of her lack of openness regarding her family life, Priya's social media presence reveals a close family bond.


About Priya Bapodra Husband

Priya Bapodra's husband Ramon Villaverde has been working as a Dive Safety Officer, and Aquatic Programs Keeper at the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium in Delaware County, Ohio. He grew up in Eastern Ohio and belongs to a biracial ethnicity. Villaverde spent most of his time exploring the surrounding, catching fish, crayfish, and snakes while growing up. His passion for animal life and the environment led him to study Zoology and Ecology at the University of Akron.

He regularly takes care of the tropical saltwater animals at the zoo. The daily routine he follows at work includes maintaining aquariums, taking care of animal diets, and keeping the aquarium running. Ramon also worked at SeaWorld, Discovery Cove, and Disney World during his career.

Yes, Priya Bapodra shares kids with her husband Villaverde. Out of their married life, they became parents of a daughter. The couple has not revealed any information regarding the identity of their daughter because they prefer to keep their family members out of the media spotlight.

In 2006, she enrolled at Royal Veterinary College located in London, England. In 2008 she earned a Masters in Wild animals Health from the Royal Veterinary College/ Zoological Society of London. With her family, Priya has been living in the United Kingdom for a long period of time. 


About Priya Bapodra

Priya Bapodra was born and raised in the UK. Her supportive parents recognized her love of animals and encouraged her to become a veterinarian and a zoo veterinarian at that. She faced many challenges at school because teachers thought she didn't 'fit the picture' of a veterinarian despite this support. Dr. Barb Wolfe selected her to become a resident in Conservation Medicine at the Wilds (Cumberland, Ohio) in 2009.

In 2012, she became a senior staff veterinarian at the Columbus Zoo after completing her residency. It is a great privilege to work with so many endangered species, inspire people to care about wildlife through a variety of mediums and work with such a talented and passionate animal care staff. Likewise, she helps to provide medical care to the 10,000 animals that are housed there.
