During his work at WTIC-HV in Hartford, Connecticut, Berthiaume covered the University of Connecticut women's and men's basketball teams. In February 2000, he joined ESPN after working at the now-defunct CNCCI network. Steve started at ESPNEWS and worked as an anchor for SportsCenter.
