Brandon Marshall met his wife Nogami at the University of Central Florida. The duo noticed one another only during a student union, although the couple went to the same university. They became friends and soon started dating following the brief encounter. Marshall and Nogami broke up after dating for a semester.

After two years, Nogami learned of Marshall through a mutual friend in a nail salon. As she learned, he still spoke about her at every opportunity. Her call to him led to their reconciliation without delay. Nogami left her job and moved to Denver to be with her partner. Marshall proposed to his girlfriend in front of her family members in February 2009. A police officer in Atlanta, Georgia, charged Marshall with disorderly conduct just weeks after the engagement. Things escalated from an "intense conversation" outside Marshall's house to violence. They began fighting, kicking, and punching each other but later the charges were dropped.
Wife Michi Nogami Stabbed Brandon Marshall
The couple seemed to be doing well after the wedding. Nearly after a year of Marshall and Nogami's marriage, she stabbed her husband Brandon in 2011. She stabbed Marshall in the abdomen surfaced out on April 23, 2011. Marshall was rushed to an intensive care unit by the Broward County Sheriff's Office after she was arrested for domestic violence and aggravated battery.

Eventually, she was released from jail on a $7,500 bond. During interrogation, Nogami confessed to using the kitchen knife for self-defense. Nevertheless, he claimed to have fallen on a broken vase when he told authorities what happened. In July 2011, the court dropped all charges against Nagomi due to differing statements.

Marshall and his wife Michi have worked out their differences and strengthened their marriage in spite of past conflicts. Also, they have become parents of three kids. He announced that his wife Nagomi had given birth to twins six weeks earlier. They welcomed their twins in 2015.

Eve, Marshall highlighted that his wife had already bounced back to her pre-baby weight. In April 2019, the married couple became parents of the third child. Neither Marshall nor Nogami have ever posted pictures of their kids online. In her Instagram bio, Nogami describes herself as a mother.

Marshall revealed that he was just diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder on the 31st of July 2011. As part of his treatment, he plans to spread awareness about the disease using his status.
