Still Married! Who is Yeonmi Park's Husband?
Yeonmi Park isn't still married to her husband. She is single after her divorce from her ex-husband. On January 4th, 2017, Yeonmi Park got married to her husband Ezekiel. "Already three years down in our marriage! Time really flies too quickly. Someday, I hope to bring my American husband to my hometown and introduce him to my friends and relatives (if they are still alive) and celebrate this holiday season like everyone else".
Reason for Divorce of Yeonmi Park
In the year 2020, Park and Ezekiel got divorced, citing personal issues. Yeonmi confirmed the divorce on one of her YouTube videos titled ‘Let’s Talk about the Lies – North Korean Defector‘ on January 30, 2021. In her video, she was asked about her marriage and stated “I was married but not anymore”.

Yeonmi has not spoken much about her relationship with Ezekiel and subsequent separation from him. After divorced; Park deleted all pictures related to her ex-husband. Her former husband Ezekiel hasn't spoken about their split yet.
Did Yeonmi Park Have Kids?
Yeonmi Park shared a kid with her ex-husband. Park shared the news of her son's birth with the public through social platforms. Her son James was born on March 18, 2018.
On her official Twitter page, she stated
"Life is a miracle. I never knew I would survive starvation and become a mother of this beautiful angel. No matter what, let’s not lose hope".

Yeonmi Park Family
In Hyesan, Ryanggang Province, she was born on 4th October 1993. Yeonmi's father Park Jin Sik was caught for illegal trading in 2002. Then, he was sentenced to hard labor at the Chungsan Reeducation camp in a show trial. He transported stolen goods and metals into China and illegally traded in Chinese-made items, including clothes, cigarettes, sugar, and rice.

Unfortunately, her dad Jin died from colon cancer. Also, she has a sibling Eun-mi Park. Yeonmi's mother Keum Sook Byeon escape North Korea along with her daughters. She suffered a chronic case of pellagra due to malnutrition. During the time of escaping, Park had eaten dragonflies and cicadas.

She fled to her mother's hometown of Kowon after escaping from North Korea. But she had to fled to the United States after her dad was arrested for smuggling metals. Park studied at Columbia University. Yeonmi has American nationality and is of Asian ethnicity.
