Cedric McMillan was a world-class bodybuilder who won the 2017 Arnold Classic bodybuilding competition. Also, he was a former U.S. Army instructor and American IFBB professional bodybuilder.

In Maplewood, New Jersey, he was born on the 17th of August, 1977. Cedric's mother purchased him, his first weight set but details of his parents missing. McMillan held American nationality and belongs to Afro-American nationality. 

He began to develop a keen interest in building a muscular physique as a teenager. Also, he idolized Arnold Schwartzenegger and started bodybuilding when he was 13 years old. After completing high school, McMillan joined US Army. 

Career of McMillan

Upon graduating from high school, McMillan joined the US Army and moved to South Carolina. He entered his first bodybuilding competition after being convinced by his friend Mark Neil. Also, Mark helped him gain a lot of sizes and learn more about bodybuilding. He grew from an initial weight of 195 lbs to 225 lbs, competing at 205 lbs during those four weeks before the competition. In the year 2007, he entered the NPC South Carolina and won the super heavyweight division. On several occasions, he was a top open division bodybuilder with 8 Pro wins while placing top 5 in major competitions.

In the year 2009, he earned his Pro card and had been in the conversation with the best open bodybuilders in the world. In 2017, he won the Arnold Classic Ohio where he met Arnold Schwarzenegger, and received praise from the former Mr. Olympia. He was placed 6th, in the 2020 Arnold Classic competition. Despite being a mass bodybuilder, McMillan had a striking aesthetic physique that stood out from the blockier mass physiques that dominate the sport. He achieved great success, particularly at the Arnold Classic.

Cedric McMillan had earned an estimated net worth of $7 Million at the time of his death. His bodybuilding business provides him with most of his income. He has won numerous titles in bodybuilding competitions and earned a decent sum of money.

Also, he had earned a handsome sum of money working in the US Army. McMillan lived a lavish and comfortable life when he was alive. Surely, he shared a close relationship with his family.

Cedric McMillan was happily married to his lovely wife Eva Matulessy. McMillan's wife was born on February 28, 1977, and raised in Eindhoven, Noord-Brabant, in the Netherlands. She is of Dutch origin and is fluent in the Dutch language as well. However, details of Cedric and Eva's love story isn't mentioned. They tied the wedding knot in a private ceremony but the marriage date and venue missing.

Cedric and Eva had been married for over a decade before the death of McMillan. Also, the duo was in a really good relationship and happy together. McMillan and Matulessy shared four kids out of their married life. Cedric has three sons Seven McMillan born in 2006, Eli McMillan born in 2008, and Necoda McMillan in 2013. Also, he shared a daughter LeMae McMillan with his wife Eva. Cedric and Eva's married life ended after his death in 2022. 

Cedric McMillan Death Cause

On April 12, 2022, Cedric McMillan died of a heart attack, while he was working out on a treadmill. At the age of 44, he passed away. Prior to his death, McMillan freely disclosed his cardiac problems. He explained why he would not compete in the Arnold Classic in November 2021.

Likewise, he opened up about heart and breathing issues likely caused by COVID-19. Also, he was put on life support and optimistic about returning to the competitive bodybuilding scene. After his near-death experience, he says he took a step back and focused on his health.
