In the year 2007, he entered the NPC South Carolina and won the super heavyweight division. On several occasions, he was a top open division bodybuilder with 8 Pro wins while placing top 5 in major competitions.
In the year 2009, he earned his Pro card and had been in the conversation with the best open bodybuilders in the world. In 2017, he won the Arnold Classic Ohio where he met Arnold Schwarzenegger, and received praise from the former Mr. Olympia. He was placed 6th, in the 2020 Arnold Classic competition. Despite being a mass bodybuilder, McMillan had a striking aesthetic physique that stood out from the blockier mass physiques that dominate the sport. Likewise, he opened up about heart and breathing issues likely caused by COVID-19. Also, he was put on life support and optimistic about returning to the competitive bodybuilding scene. After his near-death experience, he says he took a step back and focused on his health.
