Buster & Kristen's beautiful and private wedding ceremony was held in their hometown, Georgia. It was a sleeveless upper-body floral gown for the bride, and a black suit, white shirt, and a blue tie for the groom. Former American baseball player, Posey was born on March 27, 1987, in Leesburg, Georgia. His birth name is Gerald Dempsey "Buster" Posey III & zodiac sign Aries. He is the elder child of parents  Gerald Dempsey Posey II, (father) and mother Traci Posey. Buster's three siblings are Samantha Posey (sister), Jack Posey (brother), & Jess Posey (brother).

Growing up, he and his family were Methodist Christians. He played baseball as his main sport in high school. During his time at Florida State University, he was a catcher and first baseman. Having American nationality, Buster is of white ethnicity. He had played the entirety of his 12-year career for the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball (MLB). As the fifth overall pick in the 2008 MLB draft, he was selected by the Giants. Posey debuted in the Major League Baseball on September 11, 2009.

His rookie year saw him hit .305 with 18 home runs, 67 RBI, and 67 runs batted in. During the 2010 World Series, he caught every inning for the Giants. Besides winning the batting title, he was named the 2012 NL Most Valuable Player. With the Giants, Posey signed a franchise-record eight-year, $167 million contract extension in 2013.
