Angie's boyfriend Ryan's cause of death was due to a  car accident at around 3:30 a.m. EDT, on June 20, 2011. Dunn was driving in his 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 back from West Chester bar then it veered off the road and hit a tree. Soon after, his car burst into fire in West Goshen Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. He along with the production assistant of Jackass Number Two Zachary Hartwell passed away in the accident.

After the accident, he was buried at Highland Drive Cemetery in Brecksville, Ohio. The cause of Ryan's death was "speed may have been a contributing variable in the accident" according to police reports. As per reports, Ryan had a blood liquor level of 0.196 g/dL more than double the state's most extreme lawful restriction of 0.08%.

They recorded extreme stunts and pranks on camera, which led to the rise of Jackass. Also, he hosted the TV series Homewrecker and Proving Ground. Then he featured in the feature films Blonde Ambition and Street Dreams, as well as in Margera's films Haggard and Minghags. At the age of 34, Ryan died in a car crash in the year 2011.
